We bought this in 2004 at Maurice Villency, a New York-based Contemporary designer who brought Scandinavian Modern to the United States in the 1950s. Maurice Villency is no longer in business since his passing, so this piece is rare. We love it so much, but we are moving and won’t be able to take it with us.

This piece has one-of-a-kind wood markings and curved wood and glass. Though it’s a larger unit, it has a really light flow and is beautifully designed. The handles are 100% leather. The inside of the unit can hold a TV up to 40in and has a top shelf for storage. We’ve never put a TV inside, so it is in perfect condition - no scuffs or scratches. The glass allows you to display any pieces you like. There is a button (please see first picture, down to the left of the unit) that turns on a light to showcase. There is also additional below with 4 smaller drawers and another shelf. These have barely been touched.
