Seller's Notes:Purchased from Eastern Classics in Oakland, a place from which we purchased most of our Japanese furniture, this tansu is very practical and nice looking, yet with modern and useful amenities such as soft-closing drawers. It is constituted by two parts, one placed over the other one. Very easy to move, in that the handles you can see on the side allow you to easily lift each part separately (they are not particularly heavy). We are quite happy with this tansu and we are selling it only because we may have to move overseas.
