The upper kidney-shaped tier carries an applied bead boss border running its full perimeter, with a small carved circular platform at the notch bearing an entwined monogram — a detail that points to a commissioned origin and gives the piece a human dimension. The lower tier is oval with a matching molded edge. The four legs combine bold baluster capitals with tightly wound spool or bobbin turning through the main shaft, gadroon-carved collars at each tier junction, and cast brass curved sabre feet at the base.
