A Turkish Konya rug is a hand-knotted rug originating from the Konya region of Turkey, known for its bold geometric designs, use of lustrous wool, and often featuring stepped geometric medallions. This is a low pile rug, can also be a wall hanging or draped over a sofa back as an accent. Purchased this year at Upstate Rug Supply in Hudson NY. Some wear consistent with an antique rug, but in good vintage condition.
