Seller's Notes:Absolutely gorgeous shiny vintage roll top secretary writing desk with beautiful wood inlay details. Lovingly cared for for over 75 years by a former employee of JP Morgan, the desk was originally used in the Fifth Avenue offices of Guaranty Trust Co of New York (seen in the faint rubber stamp still visible in the drawer) before the two banks merged. The cylinder rolls back as the front drawer is pulled forward. The top then unfolds, rests on the drawer, and turns into a writing surface with access to 3 small drawers.
