Seller's Notes:The beauty of this floor mirror is that it looks like it came straight out of a factory window in some far-away country or just from somewhere in Brooklyn. It has sat on the floor in my living room for about 6 or 7 years and I still love it. I would often sit and stare at the piece while sitting in my handsome leather chair and imagine the back-story behind the mirror. Maybe it used to be a real window. The mirror features tortured , stained and smoky panes that have intentional spots. The frame is heavy and sturdy. It has the workings for hanging on a wall but in my opinion is much too heavy for a modern apartment as such. It would be nice over a large fireplace. You will love the rusty effects and endless conversations with guests about this nostalgic tribute to urban factory life as sustainable decor. The item weighs at least 95 lbs., and should be professionally anchored to prevent accidents with pets or small children.
