Seller's Notes:A carved walnut Tudor-style sideboard of commanding presence — 62.5"W × 21.5"D × 37.25"H, built entirely from solid old-growth walnut with the density that defines genuine period construction. The carving is comprehensive: fluted columns with lunette details running full height, a foliate band along the lower register, and burl panel insets on door and drawer fronts that bring figure and warmth to the case. Bun carved feet, arched doors flanking three short drawers below one long top drawer — decoratively coherent and practically generous. Finish wear is surface-level along the carved edges with minor grime in the detail work and age crazing to the burl panels — none of it structural. Construction and carving are fully intact. Selected for the quality and ambition of its carving, the integrity of its solid walnut construction, and the decorative authority of the Tudor form at full scale.
