I purchased it for my kitchen renovation, but after seeing it in the space, I realized the polished brass doesn't quite match my other hardware. Modern linear pendant light by Axel Mert appears delicate with thin unlacquered polished brass rods. Three ribbed textured matte glass shades, inspired by the pleasing architecture of grass huts, cast a soft, inviting glow. "This light is a memory of three big silos that were on the road to my grandma's house," Mert says. "All the design is based on the glass shade: its shape, its reflection and its color.
