Seller's Notes:I began to admire this table after visiting a CB2 for recreational window shopping; then seeing it in Young House Love, on their Insta, and blogs, I was totally taken. They had it in the Florida house as their main dining table. When my husband and I found an apartment near our daughters family in NYC, I had visions of this table, and found it on Apt Deco! Delivery was quick and professional. The mover told me, quietly, “it came from a very fine home”. So sweet! We’ve had it in our apartment for four years, but we only live here half that time, so no one was using it in between. I’ve protected it with my Swedish oilcloth for when the kids are over, so art (always washable!) and such doesn’t get on the table. The one little thing I overlooked one time when we hit the road for CA right after the holidays, was a little red gel star sticker from the windows was left on the table. In the three months that passed, it bled into the lacquer and CB2 just could not give me any help on how to clean it, and so I used a paper towel (NO!!) and Mrs Meyers spray, and left a swirl of tiny dull/scratch marks around what’s left of the star image. I photographed it. Also, there are fine scratches over the surface which have been there all along, as that’s what lacquer does. You don’t see them unless you have the ceiling lights on full and look for them. They just don’t enter into your vision , being at 30” from the floor, and your eyes seated or standing, are far enough away to miss the fine marks. IF you do a super blow up of one of the photos, you’ll see them, writ large!
