Seller's Notes:I would keep this gorgeous Crate and Barrel Bed frame, however! It's simply too high for the 16" mattress we have. We purchased this bed frame back in November 2024 then traveled for 2 months so it has hardly been used. Would have returned it, but passed the 30 day limit.
It's in excellent condition, absolutely no signs of wear. The storage drawer is super roomy and the foundation feels extremely solid. Would keep it in a heartbeat if it was 4 inches lower!
Designed to coordinate with our Batten modular system, this smart plinth-base storage bed showcases the grain of oak veneer with a white oak finish. A great choice for storage-challenged bedrooms, Batten provides a drawer at the foot of the bed for placing bedding, blankets and out-of-season garments. Handsome placed in front of one or two Batten back panels (sold separately), the minimalist bed also looks great on its own or paired up with any of the other headboards in our collection. The Batten bed is designed for us exclusively by Bill Eastburn of William Eastburn Design.
