Seller's Notes:Purchased from Design Within Reach in 2015, this table is a solid yet elegant workhorse for dining and working from home. The matte black finish works with any style home. The table can be easily disassembled into nine parts: the 4 legs and 4 edges, plus center brace concealed beneath top (frame is secured with 16 screws and cross brace). It has a few minor scratches to the edges of two of the legs from a careless mover (where bubble wrap wasn't secured), but the surface is pristine and all original hardware intact. From the manufacturer: Early in his career, Italian designer Luciano Bertoncini had a chance meeting with the legendary Joe Colombo, who chose one of Bertoncini’s products to feature in his catalog. The exposure he received from that placement led to an invitation to contribute to the famous 1972 exhibition Italy: The New Domestic Landscape at MoMA in New York. Today, Bertoncini is a furniture designer working from his studio in Treviso, serving the needs of clients around the world.
