Mission accomplished. This bed has a soft and generous headboard that’s angled, much like the back of a sofa, to create a comfortable place to read, work on a laptop, or watch TV. Its platform was inspired by the idea of a raft, “where one is floating on a platform of comfort and safety,” he says. The wide border around the mattress crafted in solid wood with beautifully rounded corners also serves as a useful space for placing books and phones. Frame made in Malaysia, headboard made in Italy. From the Miro Collection, this is a King-size slatted platform bed and attached fabric headrest. King size, Oak finish (lighter wood), upholstery/fabric in "surf” (like a light grey/blue). Frame is made in Malaysia and headboard made in italy. The Miro Bed (2020) was designed by designer Gabriel Tan. This is a solid, well made piece. Approx measurements: 36⅝" H 88" W 92⅛" D
