The arms are adjustable. They go up and down plus you can plus you can adjust how far out from the chair they go. It has a tilt back knob to lock in place or tilt back. And you can adjust the tension on tilt back.
The tilt back feature turns it into a great kicking back chair for reading at night.
I love it. But I am looking into a new chair at Relax the Back.
