Seller's Notes:Danish teak tray table (Model 4508) designed in 1958 by Svend Åge Willumsen and Hans Engholm for Fritz Hansen. Exemplifies the marriage of form and function, revealing to be both practical and expertly crafted while maintaining its Minimalist elegance. The circular tray top is supported by a deeply sculpted base. The tray can be removed for serving or for easy storage when not in use. The base features a built in steel mechanism which allows for full collapsibility. Large enough to serve as a more substantial side table or a smaller coffee table.
This thin lined tray table was designed and crafted in 1958 by H. Willumsen & S.A. Engholm, both cabinetmakers working at Fritz Hansen. Creating this timeless piece shows that they where not only that but also excellent designers.The ebonized base folds for storage. Removable molded circular tray is made of teak.
