Seller's Notes:you are looking at a giant marble, inlaid, pietra dura table, imported from Italy, measuring about 105" x 51" x 30." This table is absolutely gorgeous, and EXTREMELY HEAVY( the marble is at least a couple of inches thick). The details on the inlaid designs, featuring exotic birds, is fantastic. Unfortunately, in the process of shipping(buyer paid $10,000 to ship it to the USA), the table cracked in 3 places. Fortunately, it was restored professionally, put back together(previous buyer did it, so I have no details on it), and it looks fantastic. The cracks on the upside, are still noticeable, but you have to look closely to notice them. I have included pictures of the cracks on its underside, where it is most noticeable. The upside cracks are tough to discern in the pictures. Therefore, I strongly advise the prospective buyer to come out and preview the table before entering a bid. The base has 4 brass legs, featuring 4 exquisitely shaped lion's heads. I was told that the brass legs are as valuable as the table itself. I paid $250 to have the table professionally cleaned and touched up. The brass legs though, remain untouched, and could use a good professional polishing. Due to the immense size and weight of this table, this is a LOCAL PICKUP only. I can recommend one company to deliver it though, and they are the company that delivered it to me.
