Seller's Notes:Wow! One of Habersham's finest pieces, the Belmont Wall Systems Library. This coveted piece was featured in a Habersham Showhouse in Virginia which received coverage on the Habershamsc.com web page. The unparalleled workmanship includes carved rosettes, fluted columns, and black bead board cladding across the back of the interior. An operational ladder slides across all the three sections for hard to reach areas, and is secured in place by a brass bar. All shelving can be removed and rearranged. There are two blemishes on this library unit. One of the shelves has two circular dents on its surface, and a portion at the top of one of the columns is scratched (see pics). Neither are noticeable. This is an heirloom piece that anyone would be proud to have in their home. Please note, none of the accessories on the shelves are included in this listing.
