Seller's Notes:Chair is in great condition with a few minor blemishes. It's a great and stylish chair for a home office. I am moving and am looking to sell a few furniture pieces.

A Brief History of HAY By its establishment in 2002, HAY already had a rich history with Danish design. Founders Rolf and Mette Hay had met when both worked at Gubi, another Copenhagen-based Danish furniture company whose own roots stretched back to the mid-century. But HAY wasn't created to be just another Danish design brand. Rolf and Mette established HAY as “a new kind of design company,” motivated by the goal to collaborate with world-class designers to craft contemporary furniture, lighting, and accessories at more accessible prices, so good design could be attainable for a broader audience. Design previously wasn’t considered “affordable” – and HAY sought to change that. HAY’s assortment contains products at a wide range of prices, including a vast array of small (yet carefully designed) home accessories including candles, storage boxes, and mugs.
