I bought it four years ago and have taken great care of it—it's been in a smoke-free home with no pets, and I've never had any spills on it. The frame is still solid, and the cushions are still firm. As a single person, I've primarily used the left side, but the cushions have maintained their shape and firmness. There is one minor flaw: a very small (smaller than dime-sized) hole on the back of the sofa, which was there when it was delivered. This sofa is made of a durable and easy-to-clean faux leather material. It’s perfect for a living room, den, or family room.
