Seller's Notes:James Myford (1940-2014) Aluminum Sculpture "Single Elongated Form" Dark Blue 1999 Hand Signed and Numbered 3/3. The dark blue is so deep, it resembles black. The aluminum has a glass like finish. The picture shows "James C. Myford of Pine Township stands with "Single Elongated Form" at a recent show at the Hoyt Institute of Fine Arts, New Castle" The Herald, Sharon, PA from June 14, 2001. Myford began creating aluminum sculptures in Pittsburgh, PA in the early 1970's and his work is now in collections worldwide. Only one other could be found for sale online and it is currently offered at the Larsen Gallery, Scottsdale, AZ for $5000. Measures 6" long, 5 1/4" wide and 31 3/4" tall. It weighs 12 pounds, 3 ounces.
