The French White finish is rendered in a meticulous, multi-step process, producing visible brushstrokes that bring subtle texture and dimension to the elegant tonal palette. HOW IT IS CONSTRUCTED Penny Loft Bed is expertly crafted from plantation grown, sustainable radiate pine wood. Penny bed is expertly crafted from MDF and FSC solid radiata pine wood. Masterfully constructed with a kiln-dried solid wood frame and mortise-and-tenon and bore and dowels for structural integrity. Drawer features English dovetail joinery and bottom drawer glides that ensure smooth motion. Plastic safety stopper keeps drawer securely in place. Finish is hand-applied in multi-step process with child-safe, water-based paint, providing depth of color, richness and durability to the furniture. Seadrift features drawer pulls finished in an Antique Bronze. To remove drawer, pull out the drawer (push the lever on the side of drawer box, up and down opposite on the right and left, then pull out the drawer). Includes top bunk with guardrail and ladder. Ladder is fixed and cannot be moved. A bunk mattress (sold separately) must be used on the upper bunk; do not use a box spring. Create room for two by adding an extra bed below (sold separately).
