Seller's Notes:Kiyoshi Nagai is a pseudonym for the artist Hiroyuki Tajima (1911-1984), a renowned artist who had specialized in abstract art, and also made work like this woodblock under the pseudonym. This particular original color woodblock print is titled "Sprout" (1971). It is signed and number4d - number 127 of an edition of 252 - in the bottom margin. It was acquired at Brentano's in 1980 (Please see certificate of authenticity in one of the photos). The size specified on the listing is the framed size: approximately is 25 x 19 and a bit less than 1 inch in depth. Under glass with a passe-partout, in simple and elegant wood frame. The condition is excellent, under glass since acquired, but the condition specifications of the site are not intended for art.
