Seller's Notes:Excellent condition Knoll Barcelona. We had it in our summer home but we’ve moved and are consolidating.
The Barcelona Chair and Stool were conceived as resting places for the King and Queen of Spain in the 1929 German Pavilion at the International Exhibition in Barcelona. Determined to create a chair worthy of royalty, it’s believed that Ludwig Mies van der Rohe based the design’s signature crisscross frame on the campaign chairs of Ancient Rome.
