Seller's Notes:An authentic Italian modern “Lunario” coffee table designed by Cini Boeri for Gavina. It features a solid mirrored stainless steel base with a large floating oval glass top. The unique pedestal design incorporates internal counterweights, giving the table excellent stability while maintaining it's light, sculptural and space age presence. Cini Boeri was an Italian architect and designer who worked with brands such as Gavina - along with Knoll, Artemide, Arflex, and Rosenthal. Her work is included in museum collections and has been exhibited internationally. This piece dates to Italy, circa 1971. The table is in good condition for its age, with a very minor chip and some light scuffs on the glass, which are highlighted in the photos. Otherwise, it presents beautifully. Pickup is available, and delivery can be arranged for a fee.
