Mark Hobley “Wide Open Road” Signed Original Large Mixed Media Pop Art Painting, Ltd Ed. Silkscreen, Acrylic on Wood Large: 48” x 48” x 2" c. 2007 PURCHASED DIRECTLY from the Artist at his Studio in Venice, CA (Mark is currently Nashville-based.) The image is from a 70s french film. Hobley loved the girl power vibe since he raised his daughter alone in Venice Beach. This piece of art was inspired by her and was featured in Elle Magazine. His work has been collected by celebrities including Brad Pitt. In the style of Andy Warhol / Peter Max Mixed Media Silkscreens with color. Dramatic, striking, sexy, bold Pop Art. This piece was purchased directly at Mark Hobley’s studio in Venice, CA.(he is now Nashville-based.) Note on color: The lighting is not great for seeing the colors that clearly - the laying down image depicts them best - the purples and blues with the black and white.
