Mission Style Antique Dining Set
Product details
Seller's Notes:This is an antique mission style dining set that we bought from an antique dealer about 30 years ago for $7000. It served us well in an apartment. When we moved to a house we inherited a much larger set that was better suited to our large holiday gatherings. This mission set has been sitting in good condition and unused in our basement for 20 years. The set includes a 29" round table which expands to 79" when five 10" leaves are inserted. There are six chairs, 5 without arms and one with arms. There is a sideboard. The dimensions of the sideboard: 29" high, 20" deep, 47" wide. The seats of the chairs are a reddish brown leather which contrasts nicely with the dark brown wood. There are minor scratches on the table which are pictured. Some of the leather on the seats have minor cracks and minor discoloration. The seats have slight "butt" depression from use, but are completely presentable and show nicely. When extended with 3 or more leaves, the table is a bit wobbly, but this is easily addressed by inserting a match book or something similar under one of the legs, just like they do in restaurants. THE PRICE OF THIS SET IS NOT NEGOTIABLE AND WILL NOT BE REDUCED.
