Seller's Notes:We bought this amazing pair of photographs in 2007 from NYC photographer Isack Kousnsky, who recently passed away. Isack came over from his SoHo studio to install them in our Tribeca loft personally and they have never moved. They are slightly surrealistic fisheye views of NYC - looking up at the buildings and down at the tulips at the corner of Central Park by the Plaza. They are Vibrachrome prints on aluminum and so are incredibly vibrant and glossy (which makes them hard to photograph without reflection-sorry!). They are fabulous side by side on a big wall. Both are 44” tall but the tulips are 61.5” W and the buildings slightly wider at 66”W, but we ever knew that till we just measured. We are empty nester downsizing and can’t fit them but want to find them a good home. More interested in the karma than the $$!

We grieve along with the world, friends, and family as we have learned and announce the passing of artist Isack Kousnsky. Isack’s work has been proudly displayed in our showroom for many years and selected for many of our design projects. to the wonder and amazement of anyone who passes by his work, Isack’s imagery captures our imaginations with weighty inspiration. We are deeply saddened by this recent announcement. Please join us in mourning his passing, but also celebrating the life and work of this amazing man and artist.
