Seller's Notes:Early Paolo Piva "Meridiana" Desk Lamp – $450 Location: Upper East Side A striking and rare example of Italian postmodern design, this "Meridiana" desk lamp by Paolo Piva is a minimalist sculptural piece that doubles as functional lighting. Featuring a hemispheric enamel-coated metal shade and base, the lamp’s iconic form is supported by a geometric wire frame that recalls sundial structures—true to its “Meridiana” namesake (Italian for sundial). Designed in the late 1970s to early 1980s, this early edition remains in excellent vintage condition with only minor wear consistent with age.
