Seller's Notes:This authentic White Vitra Jean Prouvé Standard Chair has been part of my desk and dining area and has always been very well cared for. It's sturdy, beautifully made, and comfortable. Classic and timeless. It sits solidly and age beautifully, as Prouvé pieces are meant to.
I’m selling it only because I’m moving overseas and simplifying what I bring with me.

Vitra’s Standard Chair, designed by Jean Prouvé in 1934, has a unique metal structure inspired by Prouvé’s engineering background. Because most of the weight is carried by the chair’s back legs, Prouvé decided to place large, hollow steel legs on the back and slim ones on the front.
