Seller's Notes:Extra-largeoriginal textured abstract acrylic painting on board with rich deep red andblack tones. This single panel was originally part of a one-of-kindtriptych of abstract art painted by Clark Hipolito and donated to a fundraiserfor Habitat for Humanity in 2006. The panel is an impressive 48" x48" square board with wood strips on each side that allow it to projectoff the wall ~ 3.75". The colors are bold deep reds and black on atextured white background. The piece is very heavy and while technicallyunframed, is constructed in a way that does not require additional framing. Thewhite background is textured like a plaster or stucco. ClarkHipolito’s 2006 abstract triptych artwork was part of a fundraiser thatcelebrated the role of artists in advancing cultural and social development.The event, titled “The passage to Civilized Living” involved artists recycling materialsfrom Habitat for Humanity’s Reuse Center into unique art pieces. These pieceswere exhibited in public spaces and auctioned off at a gala event benefitingHabitat for Humanity. The event was acreative use of recycled building materials and demonstrated Hipolito’scommitment to community support and environmental stewardship. ClarkHipolito is a Raleigh, North Carolina based artist & designer. He startedthe Art Company Inc in 1994 focusing on original art, murals, and award-winningcommercial interior designs. His clients are prominent individuals in theworlds of film, television, music, medicine, sports, nightlife, hospitality,and wine & spirits, to name a few.
