The wood finish is rich and consistent throughout, with only a few very minor touch-ups from staging, handling, and transport. There are a handful of extremely light surface-level imperfections, including a few faint areas of minor wood indentation or light scratching that do not break through or penetrate the finish. One small area at the footboard shows a slight disturbance in the wood surface that has been touched up and is very difficult to notice unless viewed closely in direct lighting. Overall, the piece maintains a stunning presentation and any minor imperfections become virtually unnoticeable once the bed is fully installed and dressed with bedding.
