It was purchased for our living room primarily for entertaining, so it was only used during occasional gatherings rather than for daily lounging. For most of its life it was kept covered, which helped preserve the upholstery and overall condition. The sofa remains in excellent shape with clean upholstery and well-maintained cushions. The only cosmetic wear is on the wooden feet from normal floor contact over time. The feet are removable and easily replaceable if desired.
