Inspired by salon mirrors of the French Second Empire period, circa 1865, this piece has the kind of quiet, refined elegance that's hard to find. The slender frame features beautifully detailed corners -- rounded on the outside, squared on the inside -- and a hand-rubbed metal-leaf finish applied over black paint that creates a rich, modulated gold tone. Every piece goes through a multistep finishing process, making each mirror truly one of a kind.
