Employing an ancient fabrication process, artisans hand hammer the metal bars to reveal an alive, imperfect and organic texture. The pounded, tapered silhouettes are a rich counterpoint to the smooth, honed stone. Tabletop crafted of 1"-thick Italian marble over a wood core. Marble top is finished in an intensive, multistep process for a weathered patina that highlights the stone's distinctive vein patterning. Frame is forged of solid brass and hammered by hand. Forged Brass finish is crafted of solid brass. This item is artisan crafted with meticulous care. Given its handmade and hand-finished nature, variations in the marble or metal work are to be expected and celebrated. Each item is unique and no two are exactly alike.
