Seller's Notes:Set of 5 authentic Tolix A56 "Marais" French armchairs by Jean Pauchard—very familiar from the terraces of Paris! A million knockoffs out there—see the official Tolix marking on the back. These chairs are made in France, as they have been since the '30s. New versions of this chair in other colors retail between $300 and $400 each (see Design Within Reach!). They are comfortable, lightweight, stackable (up to 10) and have rubber foot covers to protect flooring. These chairs have been well loved but remain in good condition. They have small scuffs throughout but only get better with age. They are galvanized steel and have only been used indoors, in a home with no pets or smoking. Comfortable, lightweight, and stackable. Sold as a set of five, though a sixth is available if a set of six is required—please get in touch to discuss.
