Seller's Notes: Resale by original owner. This rare vintage 1990's scroll wood chair was designed by the late famous architect Robert AM Stern, FAIA (former Dean of the Yale School of Architecture). The chair is original mahogany wood frame, with four matching tapered and fluted legs. Each arm has an exquisitely woodworked concentric scroll extending from a continuing smooth aesthetic curve which begins at the top of the chair on each side. The seat and back have been professionally re-covered in new high quality fabric with a blue/tan weave design shown in the photos. Images also show the underside with the original Manufacturer label and trademark metal seal. By comparison, the last image is a fair use clip of 3 of a six chair seat by the same designer, selling for $12,500. Dimensions are as follows: Chair at back height 38"; chair width 19 1/4" Seat height from floor 18 1/4"; seat depth front to back 20 1/2"; seat width front 20 1/4" rear 17"; padded seat thickness 2 1/2".
