Seller's Notes:Classic Nichols & Stone Windsor University Chair with a University of Rhode Island Seal. Constructed of northern hardwoods and painted black with a thick varnish finish and gold detailing on the seat and chairback spindles. This is an extremely sturdy, wide chair that has been used as a desk and accent chair. The roomy design makes it a very comfortable seat. There is slight wear on the chair back and tiny nicks on the seat. Otherwise in excellent condition. My father was a URI alumni and purchased the chair in approximately 1957 between overseas tours. The chair was put into storage on overseas tours so it has minimal wear.
