Seller's Notes:A winning accent for your eclectic home. This silkscreen print by artist Frank Herz depicts a nude female figure in a free form pose. Figure is dark gray in color. Presented under glass in a large ornate, textured, black wooden frame. Measures 41" wide x36.5" tall x 2" thick. Ready to hang. Circa 1970s-80s. This piece was bought at auction with many of the artist's works. Unsigned. FRANK M HERZ 6/26/1936 - 8/13/2016. Born in Dusseldorf Germany, Frank and his family escaped Nazi Germany in 1939 and emigrated to the USA. In the early 1960's, he was a pioneer in what is now SoHo, converting commercial industrial spaces into art studio and living spaces. He was a co-founder of one of the first artist co-ops in SoHo: First called Fluxhouse Cooperative III, and then Grand Street Artists Cooperative.’ (Info From artist’s website).
