Seller's Notes:A striking vintage rattan dining table from the 1970s to 1980s with a sculptural swept-leg base, woven rattan lower shelf, and oval glass top. The base is the standout feature: four bundled rattan poles sweep outward from a central circular collar in a dramatically organic gesture, creating a base of real sculptural presence and natural warmth. The circular woven rattan lower shelf — constructed in a neat grid of crossed reed poles with wrapped rattan tie intersections — provides structural cross-bracing and a beautiful secondary display surface. The oval glass top is clear, lightly tinted aqua at depth, and in very good condition. The glass-on-rattan configuration is a hallmark of quality American coastal furniture production of this period — the transparent top allows the sculptural base to remain fully visible and appreciated.
