Seller's Notes:This vintage four-drawer walnut chest by Templeton Furniture of Brattleboro, Vermont carries its original cast brass maker’s plaque inside the drawer — confirmed mid-century American provenance from a regional New England manufacturer. The design is clean and well-resolved: carved arc pulls routed directly into each drawer face with no metal hardware, rounded corner posts forming a low gallery rail at the top, and smooth maple or birch secondary wood drawer interiors throughout. The walnut tone is warm and consistent, and the overall proportions are upright and compact — a vintage chest that works equally well as a bedroom dresser, entry piece, or media stand. A documented, labeled piece of mid-century New England furniture making at its best.
