Seller's Notes:Set of four vintage cantilever dining chairs with polished chrome tubular frames and thick black leather sling seats and backs. These are beautifully made, high-quality chairs with excellent proportions and craftsmanship. The design is Bauhaus-inspired, in the manner of Mart Stam and late 20th-century Italian modern furniture. Condition is good/vintage, but one has had the back lace replaced with white string. - Bright chrome with light wear consistent with age - Thick leather with minor surface scratches, creasing, and edge wear from use. A few spots of paint on them and a few areas of rubbing at the edges. - Structurally solid and comfortable One chair has had the back lacing replaced; the other three retain their original lacing. Approximate dimensions: 31"H × 19"W × 25"D Seat height: approximately 18" Selling as a set of four only. Pickup on the Upper East Side, Manhattan. Elevator building.
