Seller's Notes:I bought this antique Chinese desk in the countryside outside of Beijing in 1997. According to “experts,” it likely dates from the early 20th century and is made of hardwood—possibly Hongmu. It’s a large, double-sided desk designed to be used by two people at the same time. It features drawers on both sides, a footrest, and a top section that fits precisely onto the two base elements.
