Seller's Notes:Dominican Republic artist Virgilio Mendez produced this beautiful set as a limited edition for Arte De Cafe plates. It is a set of two salad-sized porcelain plates. One plate is a reproduction of "In the Cane Fields" and the other is "Woman from the Village". Mendez painted the daily life of mostly Afro-Latino Dominicans. The plate of the man does have a chip on his face so please view the images and the video. Dimensions 8" Diameter Items are vintage and sold as is. Naturally, they may show wear, but I do my best to accurately and thoroughly represent all items.
