Seller's Notes:VINTAGE AMERICAN POTTERY Pfaltzgraff 1940's? Large Turquoise Bowl Glazed clay Heavy and substantial 9 3/4" in diameter X 5 1/4" in height Good vintage condition considering its age with some pitting in glaze, a few tiny and almost imperceptible chips in the rim, and a small hair line on the inside of bowl's rim. None of these age-related flaws in this very large, deeply colored bowl are clearly noticeable to the eye, other than upon careful close-up inspection. Rare to find in this size and condition. Purchased in an antique store 50 years ago in Upstate New York. This is a stunning and impressive vintage bowl, in shape, size, condition and of a striking color.
