Seller's Notes:William LaMirande is a artist from "Skunk City " Syracusez NY". William LaMirande was a night watchman at General Electric. His art was not really discovered and apprecitae until after his passing in 1998. William LaMirande was a very talented artist whos work in now in a few gallery's around NY and some are even in Museum Collection Onondaga Historical Association. Known for his street paintings of landmark buildings. His paintings of places in Paris/France in watercolors and his ink and pencil sketchs/doodles of country scence's and 3 demecial. Often called fishbowl style and outsider style each piece is truly creative. 44 of his pieces of William LaMirande's art were found in a dumpster in Las Vegas . This watercolor has a stain on back of paper and came through slightly on the front right side above the trees but it really looks like its part of the painting and is not dark like on the back side. It is signed and dated and in the left corner on the bootom says fishing village in Nove Scotia. Very detailed and a great piece of art by William LaMirande. Each piece is origanal and one of a kind it comes is a matt photo cover ready to be put in a frame of your choice. His art can only increase in value as he becomes more well known.
