Williams Sonoma Ton 14 Bistro Chairs
Product details
Seller's Notes:In the mid-1800s, Michael Thonet led a revolution in furniture making, inventing a method for bending wood to create super-strong, lightweight chairs. Crafted by TON in the original Thonet factory, this chair is based on the famous Chair No. 14 – the design that won Thonet a gold medal at the 1867 Paris World's Fair. It combines a solid beech wood frame with a tight yet flexible natural cane seat for durability and comfort. Pared-down, classic lines allow it to work equally well with traditional and modern dining tables alike. True to their European roots, these bistro chairs are slightly smaller in proportion to modern dining chairs.
