Seller's Notes:Rare and stunning! 1970s Vintage Italian Amber Color Marble Mid-Century Postmodern Square Coffee Cocktail Table with hidden casters and original 1/4" glass top. Solid marble slabs on all sides in a gorgeous palette of amber, chestnut, burnt umber, and auburn - truly one of a kind. Shipping / Pick-up: This item is local pickup Austin,Texas at my residence. If you'd like this item shipped, you will need to line up the shipper and take full responsibility for damage in transit. ***I am a seasoned shipper - if you need suggestions, happy to help - please message. Single-owner, acquired circa 1972 (my parents purchased). This table lived in a custom mid-century home alongside Knoll, Milo Baughman, and Mies van der Rohe pieces. Marble slabs are 3/4" thick, showcasing incredible craftsmanship. *Condition: Excellent. Looks new and has been well cared for. SINGLE OWNER. There is 1 small area the very base of the table that is broken of - it's small and takes nothing away from the table - you can't see it unless you look for it - it's at the base of one side and happened during a move in 1978 and was still the focal point of a beautiful living room - This can be repaired but doesn't really need it and but does not detract from the beauty or presence of the table and it's been this way since 1978. The marble is in amazing condition. A bold, sculptural centerpiece for any Mid-Century or Postmodern interior - a true showstopper. NOTE: the underside of the table is hollow. To the best of my recollection there is no identification - although I was never looking for it, I've moved quite a few times and have seen the underside of the table quite about 3-4x. Given the weight, I am not able to 100% confirm. THE PHOTO of the underside is not this table but I found it and it represents what the underside looks like.
