Seller's Notes:This Ru Van Rossem signed modernist work hails from the 1960's and depicts a modernist vision of children and nuns in front of apartment buildings, or possibly a school. Ru van Rossem Dutch sculptor was known for his etchings with aquatint such as this piece. Born,1924, Amsterdam, Died 2007, Tilburg, Netherlands. Signature to lower right reads ‘Ru van ROSSEM 62’, inscription to lower left reads ’Impressions of southern Italy II 19/20’, measures approximately 31" x 24", presented in a period wooden frame painted gold and black, under glass, matted in beige. Ready to hang.
