Carved pinecone finials at the crest rail corners, foliate top rail carving, fluted column stiles, rosette medallions at arm supports and apron corners, and reeded tapered legs with toupie feet — every element of the Louis XVI program is present and well-executed in warm walnut. The chair has been recovered in natural cream linen, unified across the back panel, seat cushion, and padded armrests. The combination of dark walnut and natural linen is a classic of French interior design and works naturally in traditional, transitional, and contemporary settings alike. A beautiful accent chair with genuine decorative presence — at home beside a fireplace, in a bedroom, or as a living room statement piece.
