Vintage Santa Music Box

Seller's Notes:Vintage music box featuring a standing Santa adorned with a green robe and surrounded by a chest of toys, musical instruments, and fruits.   I came upon this piece 25 years ago when I was working on 2nd Ave.  There was this adorable sliver of a gift shop "Flights of Fancy"  on 1st and this was part of their holiday window display.  Every year for 5 years, I’d been eyeing this piece hoping that each year after the holidays the price would go down. It didn't. The owner told me that this is one of 5 left, Smithsonian or something, it was too expensive for him to reduce, so he kept it for his own.  Needless to say,  after 5 years, it was mine.  The box and paper work has some water damage. I have too many things in my small apartment, and stuff just has to go.  It's a piece I took very good care of, it was only displayed one season, I was too paranoid in a restaurant  it would get damaged, so I kept it in bubble wrap and boxed for what seems like forever.
