Seller's Notes:This is an early 20th century OSHKOSH steamer trunk, in a lovely sand-colored, water-resistant fabric stretched over a wooden frame with distinctive stripes of the classic Chief line. It's reinforced with brass-plated corners, leather wrapping, and rivets, all of the era, along with very steam-punk looking locks by the Eagle Lock Company. These trunks were designed for extensive international travel and to stand upright to hold clothing, drawers, and hangers. There's some damage to the outside (we had to force the lock to open it sadly) but the interiors are untouched and include all original hangars and drawers in perfect condition.
